You've been looking for a place to worship God freely in an atmosphere where you are loved and included? The Pentecostals of Kentwood have built our services around that very idea. Here, worship is as much a personal experience as it is a community effort. We love to worship, and we care about people. We invite you to visit one of our weekend worship services, mid-week Bible studies, or weekday fellowship groups.
Community Groups
Home Study Groups are Bible Study and Fellowship groups that meet weekly in the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere of the home. The groups meet on Thursdays at a variety of locations in the homes of various POK members. If you are interested in attending one, please contact us.
Missions
The Pentecostals believe in reaching out to those who are in need, whether they are our closest neighbors or from the furthest continent. We actively give of our finances to various missionaries, and take part in missions trips both locally and abroad. There are opportunities for everyone at POK to be involved.
Deaf Ministry
We are pleased to have a very capable sign interpreter at our church, Cindy Lareva. Cindy is a Michigan state qualified interpreter, and has been instrumental in building this ministry in our church. If you are, or someone you know is, hearing impaired, please be encouraged that there is a Spirit-filled church in Kentwood that is committed to serving in this needed area.
Adults
Each Tuesday at 7:00 pm, we offer a group learning experience for adults. Pastor Jones teaches lively, relevant lessons that are both engaging and thought-provoking. The atmosphere is casual, and questions and input are welcome.
Fuel Student Ministries
From weekend retreats and missions trips to student-led services and activities, our youth group is alive and on fire for God. Each Tuesday at 7:00 pm is our Fuel Student Ministry Bible Study where we discuss the hard-hitting and relevant topics affecting today's youth. Our monthly youth services are powerful and life-changing, and we are beginning to offer home study groups just for youth as well.
Children
Each Tuesday at 7:00 pm is our Kids' Power Hour! Your children will enjoy interactive storytelling, lively worship music, a fun-filled Bible lesson and craft time, along with a nutritious snack. Nursery is
