Kevin Yeager's Testimony

God is so wonderful and has done great things in my life. Twelve years ago, my wife and I were attending a Pentecostal church and we had just had our oldest child. I was finishing up college and everything looked to be on track. I was very active in the church. I was a youth leader, usher, and Sunday school teacher. God had put a burden on my heart that there was more that I needed to do. I thought to myself, if I don’t talk to anyone about my burden then it would maybe just go away!

The Thrill of the Climb

I didn’t just climb that cliff to see what was at the top. I didn’t just climb to take in the beauty of the wilderness around me. I didn’t scale that wall to say, “Wow, look how high I climbed!” No. I scaled that wall because I knew beyond it laid another challenge… another obstacle… another adventure.

Prepare the Way

The atmosphere was right, and the mood was set. Everything was prepared. The host of the party wanted the guest to feel both welcome and honored.

Are You Drifting?

One thing I’ve learned about drifting is that it requires no effort on our part. All we have to do is stop rowing the boat, and we begin to silently wash away in the current.

Prescription for a Healthy Spirit

So, how are you feeling today? Any aches or pains in the joints? Difficulty breathing? John, in writing to Gaius in 3 John, expresses particular concern for his physical wellbeing. In verse 2, he says, “I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Interesting, isn’t it, that John referred to Gaius’ spiritual condition as an issue of “health”? Not only that, but John implies that he is in a state of excellent spiritual well-being! I wonder how we would describe our own spiritual condition today?

Mike Elliott's Testimony - Finding My Way Back

“First let me say that the events of my life are a testimony to God and His awesome power. The love when I needed love; the discipline when I needed discipline, and so on. That is a story for another time. ” This is the testimony of how Mike made his way back to God after years of running.
