Recently I was praying during our worship service, and felt a small hand on my back. When I looked down, I saw one of our church kids with his other hand raised in the air, eyes clutched tightly praying for his pastor. Tears were streaming down both his face and mine as I thanked God for this rising generation. I began to think about his mom and dad, and the spiritual experiences they also shared here at the Pentecostals as they reached out to God for healing, direction and comfort. And their parents before them also found the grace of God through this ministry as He worked miracles in and through them. And today I see that the Pentecostals is a place where many have found a home to connect with Jesus, fulfill their ministries, and raise their families.

That’s what the Pentecostals has been all about since its inception. And through the growth of our congregation we’ve come to a great moment to embody the hopes and dreams of our past, and to give a much-needed gift to our future.
